This is a very popular ski category in Europe.

These skis have a very short radius, turn initiation is very quick. These skis are popular for their rapid response to the slightest movement.

This category was developed from the World Cup skis and they also have very similar parameters.

The main advantage of slalom ski is their very fast edge-to-edge transfer thanks to a narrow waist profile.

Slalom Ski Construction and Binding

Slalom skis have almost identical construction with the World Cup series. Wood core, titanal reinforcment and have bindings up to 160 kg of skier weight.

Basic version for an average user usually has a wood core and bindings up to 120 kg of skier weight.

Slalom Ski Radius

The radius of slalom skis is in range of 10 – 13.5 m.

Slalom Ski Length

Average length is 165 cm for men and 155 cm for women, but otherwise the skis are available in lengths of 150 - 170 cm.
